JUNI JUNI FC's Pastor Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Regis in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the JUNI JUNI FC defense, Victorino Regis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pastor Selatse. The JUNI JUNI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pastor Selatse should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Austin came free, but Magnus Pauk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amien Soekarno was slow to take the kick. During this time Pilar FC's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Rogelio Videl at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of JUNI JUNI FC. 0-2. Pastor Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Videl in the 44th minute of play. Pilar FC's Santiago Ixaka got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Victorino Regis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Selatse was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Victorino Regis made the kick off in the second half. Pilar FC's Santiago Ixaka got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pastor Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Regis, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Emiliano Bonadona hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Pastor Selatse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Regis's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Roque Lamberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Pauk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Victorino Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Videl in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's Victorino Regis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Santiago Ixaka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Pastor Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Victorino Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pilar FC's Amien Soekarno couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for JUNI JUNI FC.
