Nuno Pelayo hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Magnus Pauk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Paulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Evelio Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Regis in the 6th minute of play. Evelio Garcia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Rogelio Videl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Videl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Pilar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Eutropio came free, but Magnus Pauk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Epe FC's Dionisio Paskal got a free kick in the 28th minute. Magnus Pauk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Paulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Angel Eutropio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magnus Pauk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Angel Eutropio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Pauk having to interfere. Magnus Pauk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Eutropio, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Magnus Pauk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Paulin's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Paulin was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Epe FC's Artemio Ganix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Magnus Pauk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Epe FC's Guillermo Esiquio was substituted for Dionisio Paskal. Epe FC's Angel Eutropio got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulino Paulin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magnus Pauk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Epe FC's Paulino Paulin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Magnus Pauk. Magnus Pauk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Pilar FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Angel Eutropio scored to the left of an out of position Magnus Pauk, making the score, 1-3. Nuno Pelayo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Pilar FC's Magnus Pauk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Pilar FC from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute Victorino Regis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Ixaka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Garcia having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Epe FC's Guillermo Esiquio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. The Epe FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
