The corner ended in Eleuterio Dominix almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olimpo FC's Gavino Kaxen did a great save. A collision led to Olimpo FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Arnoldo Montrelle hit a great ball. Sansinena FC's Gaspar Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Maurino in the 42nd minute of play. Gavino Kaxen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio George, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 47th match minute, Olimpo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Abajas to maneuver through the defense. Sansinena FC's Eleuterio Dominix shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 50th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gavino Kaxen but with some difficulty. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Santos to make the kick off. Gavino Kaxen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Santos in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Mario Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sansinena FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olimpo FC the free kick. Mario Santos hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Gaspar Salvator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Olimpo FC's Artemio Maurino got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Olimpo FC's Godfredo Meder got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sansinena FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
