Potrerillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sansinena FC the free kick. Eugenio Oroitz's late challenge caught a Sansinena FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Oroitz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Eugenio Oroitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clemente Veronica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspar Salvator having to make a save. 46 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Dominix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sansinena FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potrerillos the free kick. In the 46th minute, Eleuterio Dominix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Derwin to make the kick off. In the 67th minute Salvador Quilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Santio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
