Spectators: 7304 (Terracing: 5479, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Guido Valery got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Jeronimo Incendio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Incendio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guido Valery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gavino Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Erasmo Michael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Isótopos de Albuquerque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olimpo FC the free kick. After 15 played minutes Olimpo FC got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Bilbo. In the 16th minute of the match Octavio Naldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavino Kaxen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pascual Isaio's late challenge caught a Isótopos de Albuquerque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Isaio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Olimpo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Isaio to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Astor Arias had to leave the field with a concussion. During the 22nd minute of the match Pascual Isaio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pascual Isaio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Olimpo FC's Pascual Isaio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes, Isótopos de Albuquerque's Octavio Naldo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gavino Kaxen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Isótopos de Albuquerque reached it. Gavino Kaxen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Tiniebra in the 27th minute of play. Arnoldo Montrelle charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Montrelle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Isótopos de Albuquerque booed when Olimpo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Montrelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Tiniebra hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Godfredo Meder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Isótopos de Albuquerque's zone, Godfredo Meder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Geleberto came out of the goal and Godfredo Meder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gavino Kaxen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Tiniebra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Artemio Maurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artemio Maurino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes Olimpo FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Montrelle. If Godfredo Meder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes, Ramon Tiniebra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Isótopos de Albuquerque and the Olimpo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Isótopos de Albuquerque got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Tiniebra. When Artemio Maurino came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Olimpo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Maurino couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Olimpo FC's Gavino Kaxen got control of the ball when Ramon Tiniebra tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ramon Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Olimpo FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jeronimo Incendio hit a great ball. If Artemio Maurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Olimpo FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Edelmiro Tipi hit a great ball. Godfredo Meder didn't quite understand what happened when in the 96 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. There was no doubt that Olimpo FC were the better team. Olimpo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
