The Laferrere FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cleto Orlin should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute Jimeno Leguizamón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Orlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Laferrere FC's Luisito Ramirez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Jimeno Leguizamón came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Chacabuco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Leguizamón couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the game, Rene Iratxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laferrere FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacabuco FC the free kick. Rene Iratxo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Jimeno Leguizamón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Orlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Laferrere FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Leguizamón came free, but Cleto Orlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Jimeno Leguizamón sped through Laferrere FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cleto Orlin. After a rather tough play, Laferrere FC's Ovidio Eguntsenti got a free kick in the 44th minute. A collision led to Laferrere FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Herminio Faro hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rene Iratxo made the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Leguizamón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cleto Orlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 79 in the game by Jimeno Leguizamón from a close distance when the talented Cleto Orlin managed to make a qualified save. Laferrere FC's players were relieved. If Jimeno Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleto Orlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Dolfos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimeno Leguizamón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Orlin having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Jimeno Leguizamón could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Cleto Orlin however easily saved by the left post. With his leg Cleto Orlin managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Chacabuco FC's Luis Egoi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Laferrere FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luis Egoi 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. The Laferrere FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chacabuco FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
