Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Laferrere FC's Rene Iratxo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Laferrere FC's goalkeeper Cleto Orlin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Epifanio Quintyn. Ignacio Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cleto Orlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Carlomagno in the 9th minute of play. When Epifanio Quintyn came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Huanqueros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Quintyn couldn't finish the play. If Epifanio Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Laferrere FC's Cleto Orlin got control of the ball when Epifanio Quintyn tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Eriberto Venceslas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Victorino Florian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cleto Orlin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marciano Bembe went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Eriberto Venceslas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cleto Orlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Carlomagno in the 38th minute of play. When Lucas Chico fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laferrere FC's protests and gave Lucas Chico a yellow card for diving instead. Lucas Chico hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ignacio Carlomagno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cleto Orlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Laferrere FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Chico. 48 minutes into the game, Huanqueros FC's Epifanio Quintyn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cleto Orlin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, Ignacio Carlomagno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleto Orlin. Laferrere FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Carlomagno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Gonzalo Berto's late challenge caught a Huanqueros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzalo Berto helped the player get up and apologised. 58 minutes into the game, one of Laferrere FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Epifanio Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Carlomagno in the 65th minute of play forced Laferrere FC's goalkeeper Cleto Orlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Carlomagno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Orlin having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Laferrere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Chico to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Laferrere FC's goalkeeper Cleto Orlin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cleto Orlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epifanio Quintyn's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After 73 minutes, Marcial Olando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laferrere FC and the Huanqueros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Laferrere FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marcial Olando hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Laferrere FC's Lucas Chico got a free kick in the 75th minute. Epifanio Quintyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Orlin having to interfere. Cleto Orlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Quintyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Epifanio Quintyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Orlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
