Diego Dantae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedicto Frederico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Orlin having to interfere. Benedicto Frederico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cleto Orlin having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Iratxo to strike the kick off in the second half. Laferrere FC's Cleto Orlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Dantae in the 76th minute of play. Benedicto Frederico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Orlin having to interfere. Laferrere FC's Cleto Orlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Frederico in the 88th minute of play. Diego Dantae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cleto Orlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rene Iratxo fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laferrere FC's protests and gave Rene Iratxo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Laferrere FC's Rene Iratxo got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Diego Dantae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benedicto Frederico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salada Grande's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
