If Tomás Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Luis Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Berenguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Egoi in the 18th minute of the match. Jimeno Leguizamón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ciro Berenguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pascual Evangelista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chacabuco FC's Jimeno Leguizamón got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Berenguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Egoi in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Jimeno Leguizamón notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Eldorado FC's Ciro Berenguer. Ciro Berenguer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute Luis Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jimeno Leguizamón made the kick off in the second half. Einar Tham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Jaunti, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. A collision led to Eldorado FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Feliciano Ekialde hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Chacabuco FC's Apolo Ireno got a free kick in the 55th minute. Fulgencio Jaunti took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Einar Tham. Einar Tham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chacabuco FC's goalkeeper Einar Tham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Leguizamón got free with Ciro Berenguer in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eldorado FC's Ciro Berenguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Egoi in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Eldorado FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Amancio Oton hit a great ball. Ciro Berenguer made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Jimeno Leguizamón sent off a good shot on target. Chacabuco FC's Jimeno Leguizamón got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Einar Tham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Jaunti in the 71st minute of the match. Eldorado FC's Ciro Berenguer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Eldorado FC from getting a goal against them. Apolo Ireno kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Einar Tham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Jaunti in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Jimeno Leguizamón notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Eldorado FC's Ciro Berenguer. Ciro Berenguer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Ciro Berenguer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Egoi in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Tomás Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Tham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimeno Leguizamón's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ciro Berenguer firmly grabbed it by the left post. With an all-out effort, Chacabuco FC's Ciro Berenguer threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Egoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Chacabuco FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
