Spectators: 7370 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 147) Olimpo FC's Arnoldo Montrelle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gavino Kaxen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Derwin in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Arnoldo Montrelle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Veronica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gavino Kaxen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Potrerillos's Rolando Derwin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gavino Kaxen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Potrerillos booed when Olimpo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Arnoldo Montrelle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Potrerillos's Amadeo Santio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeo Santio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Montrelle in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Potrerillos booed when Olimpo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Montrelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Derwin to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Rolando Derwin lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Gavino Kaxen. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Clemente Veronica took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Gavino Kaxen to make any attempt to save it. After 65 minutes of play, Potrerillos's Rolando Derwin made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavino Kaxen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 70 minutes, Arnoldo Montrelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Montrelle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eugenio Oroitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnoldo Montrelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Godfredo Meder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olimpo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potrerillos the free kick. 85 minutes into the match, Olimpo FC's goalkeeper Gavino Kaxen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Derwin. Rolando Derwin in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gavino Kaxen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arnoldo Montrelle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo Santio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Potrerillos played a much better game than Olimpo FC and deserved their victory. The Olimpo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
