Salvador Quilo started the match with the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Gaspar Salvator successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 6 minutes, Salvador Quilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sansinena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Quilo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Sansinena FC's Salvador Quilo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cleto Orlin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fulgencio Edwardo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Salvador Quilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cleto Orlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Quilo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cleto Orlin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Haroldo Ruisko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sansinena FC's Salvador Quilo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Salvador Quilo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleto Orlin. Laferrere FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Quilo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Eleuterio Dominix kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Laferrere FC's Rene Iratxo in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sansinena FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fulgencio Edwardo made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ovidio Eguntsenti however managed to control. Sansinena FC's Gaspar Salvator proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Sansinena FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Olando in the 43rd minute of play forced Sansinena FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Salvator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Chico got free with Gaspar Salvator in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Salvador Quilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Iratxo to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Salvador Quilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Orlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Laferrere FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eleuterio Dominix was slow to take the kick. During this time Sansinena FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Fabio George managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 58th minute Salvador Quilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Orlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Quilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Salvador Quilo lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Cleto Orlin. Wilfredo Ilazki hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Eriberto Venceslas charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Venceslas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Laferrere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Venceslas to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Ruisko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cleto Orlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Laferrere FC's goalkeeper Cleto Orlin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvador Quilo. 93 minutes into the match, Salvador Quilo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cleto Orlin, 1-5. 96 minutes into the match, Marcial Olando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Salvator. Sansinena FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Olando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Sansinena FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
