Cristobal Raymond's late challenge caught a Deportivo Samoré's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristobal Raymond helped the player get up and apologised. Cristobal Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Samoré's zone, Urbano Aguilera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Oliverio came out of the goal and Urbano Aguilera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Elpidio Ihintza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melquiades Manex recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Melquiades Manex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristobal Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Raymond scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Oliverio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nestor Guifre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Camilo Oliverio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Samoré booed when Duraznito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Guifre didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Milan Selanovski fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Duraznito's protests and gave Milan Selanovski a yellow card for diving instead. When Deportivo Samoré's Elpidio Ihintza, in the 27th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Samoré. Victoriano Quiroga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Ihintza in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Urbano Aguilera made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Oliverio. Deportivo Samoré's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After having played for 44 minutes, Cristobal Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duraznito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Raymond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Guifre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Duraznito were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elpidio Ihintza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Elpidio Ihintza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Quiroga was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Samoré's Melquiades Manex got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, Deportivo Samoré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Ereinotz to maneuver through the defense. When Cristobal Raymond came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Duraznito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Raymond couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Ihintza in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Quiroga saved Duraznito from getting behind. The supporters of Duraznito booed when Deportivo Samoré was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duraznito's Victoriano Quiroga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Ihintza in the 69th minute of play. Cristobal Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Oliverio having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Duraznito's Urbano Aguilera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Oliverio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Duraznito made a substitution. Justino Jayvier replaced Cristobal Raymond. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Samoré's Inocencio Romo got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Deportivo Samoré's Camilo Oliverio got control of the ball when Urbano Aguilera tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Elpidio Ihintza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Samoré fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 95th minute Milan Selanovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Oliverio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Urbano Aguilera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Deportivo Samoré fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Duraznito were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
