Borussia Dortmund's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Policarpio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Dortmund's zone, Severo Urritz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Koldo came out of the goal and Severo Urritz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kenneth Bergendahl might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmacio Koldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kenneth Bergendahl ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 19 minutes, Ulises Policarpio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Policarpio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dalmacio Koldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Bergendahl in the 21st minute of play. Joaquin Edorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Matildo Fillol having to interfere. Borussia Dortmund's Dalmacio Koldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Urritz in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilario Montay during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dalmacio Koldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of A.C.Cosmos booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Hernando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund's Ulises Policarpio. But to his dismay, Ulises Policarpio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ulises Policarpio struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. In the 46th minute of the match Ceferino Tonete shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmacio Koldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Policarpio to strike the kick off in the second half. A.C.Cosmos's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Policarpio in the 51st minute of play. When Ceferino Tonete fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C.Cosmos's protests and gave Ceferino Tonete a yellow card for diving instead. Borussia Dortmund's Gaspar Tartalo was substituted for Joaquin Edorta. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund booed when A.C.Cosmos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Tonete didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Florentino Isauro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C.Cosmos's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 97th minute of the game, when Florencio Mikeldi after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Borussia Dortmund's goal. Florencio Mikeldi was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. A.C.Cosmos were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Borussia Dortmund to leave the ground with a draw.
