But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Santo couldn't finish the play. If Silverio Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Silverio Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dharma FC's Gerardo Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Santo in the 40th minute of play. Cristo Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Valery having to interfere. In the 44th minute of the match Eloy Aureo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godfredo Gabirel skillfully saved the ball. Gerardo Valery made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Salvador Aurre sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silverio Veremundo was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Dharma FC's Bartolo Bernaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godfredo Gabirel narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
