Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mariano Oinatz made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of CICLON.FC booed when Durazno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Ihazintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durazno FC's Fernando Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Urti in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute of the match Arturo Ihazintu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Martínez skillfully saved the ball. Mo Bo Bang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Peyo having to interfere. Fernando Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Iraido in the 12th minute of the match. Mo Bo Bang succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. A collision led to Durazno FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Cosme Bastia hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Durazno FC's goalkeeper Fernando Peyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mo Bo Bang. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Coutinho in the 22nd minute of play forced Durazno FC's goalkeeper Fernando Peyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Ihazintu's late challenge caught a CICLON.FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Ihazintu helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Durazno FC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Ihazintu. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Durazno FC's goalkeeper Fernando Peyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cosme Bastia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Durazno FC's goalkeeper Fernando Peyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mo Bo Bang to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Mo Bo Bang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Marcos Urti put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fernando Peyo. Karl-Åke Björnsson struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Fernando Peyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CICLON.FC. Fernando Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Urti in the 62nd minute of the match. When Aníbal Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the CICLON.FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Coutinho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Durazno FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Simon Lauaxeta hit a great ball. When Mariano Oinatz came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Durazno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Oinatz couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Karl-Åke Björnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. CICLON.FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Åke Björnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Peyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Durazno FC's Benjamin Natal got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Karl-Åke Björnsson notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Durazno FC's Fernando Peyo. Fernando Peyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 85 minutes, Mariano Oinatz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Durazno FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Oinatz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo De Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Durazno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Åke Björnsson came free, but Fernando Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CICLON.FC fully deserved thier win.
