The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Bernaldo got free with Dan Bäckström in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. LakeShow's Dan Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Veremundo in the 5th minute of play. In the 7thth minute of the game Clodoveo Muc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dharma FC's Gerardo Valery was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dan Bäckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horacio Txema in the 10th minute. Dan Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Veremundo in the 11th minute of play. Dharma FC's Bartolo Bernaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anastasio Gilen kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Serafino Weather struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Dan Bäckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dharma FC. Ladislao Gar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerardo Valery read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, LakeShow's goalkeeper Dan Bäckström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolo Bernaldo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Gar in the 42nd minute of play forced Dharma FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Raebert in the 45th minute of play. If Silverio Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Veremundo to make the kick off. Dan Bäckström went to the wrong direction when Alejo Remir was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of Dharma FC booed when LakeShow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Gar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Valery made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Clodoveo Muc sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the game, Dharma FC's Silverio Veremundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Bäckström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Silverio Veremundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Bäckström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silverio Veremundo ran back to his position shaking his head. Dharma FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
