Cosme Bastia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Godfredo Gabirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Gabirel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Oinatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Durazno FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Elertondo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
