Dan Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Tauro in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, LakeShow's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Laurin came free, but Dan Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Uriburú's Nunez Tauro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Bäckström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 23 played minutes LakeShow got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Natanael. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Ladislao Gar put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Odilon. After a defensive mix-up in LakeShow's zone, Genaro Laurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Bäckström came out of the goal and Genaro Laurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Tauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, LakeShow's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Quilino came free, but Dan Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adan Dantae hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Uriburú's Genaro Laurin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When Cornelio Elia fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LakeShow's protests and gave Cornelio Elia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Cornelio Elia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clodoveo Muc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Odilon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ladislao Gar managed to get in a good position for a shot. LakeShow's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Gar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Odilon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uriburú's Ricardo Odilon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Muc in the 55th minute of play. Genaro Laurin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Dan Bäckström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Laurin in the 64th minute of play forced LakeShow's goalkeeper Dan Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Bäckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nunez Tauro in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, LakeShow's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Laurin came free, but Dan Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Uriburú's Carlos Pes got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Gar in the 88th minute of play forced Uriburú's goalkeeper Ricardo Odilon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
