In the 7th minute, Astor Lico made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Galsino. Soldevilla AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Astor Lico kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Lars Mellberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soldevilla AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Matera Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Kleopas Seeholzer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Astor Lico hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Soldevilla AFC's Lars Mellberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kleopas Seeholzer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Kleopas Seeholzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Froila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kleopas Seeholzer came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Soldevilla AFC's Artemio Froila. But to his dismay, Artemio Froila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. When Cipriano Heli fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soldevilla AFC's protests and gave Cipriano Heli a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Soldevilla AFC's Cipriano Heli got a free kick in the 30th minute. Kleopas Seeholzer came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Soldevilla AFC's Artemio Froila. But to his dismay, Artemio Froila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Kleopas Seeholzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Oliverio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Bernabel shot from long distance in the 43rd minute, but Manuel Galsino was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars Mellberg to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Soldevilla AFC's Lars Mellberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kleopas Seeholzer. Kleopas Seeholzer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Kleopas Seeholzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Lia in the 55th minute of the match. Artemio Froila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Soldevilla AFC's Godofredo Lia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kleopas Seeholzer. That made the score 1-7 after 58 minutes of play. Manuel Galsino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Lico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of La Matera Fútbol Club booed when Soldevilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Mellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kleopas Seeholzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Oliverio, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Kleopas Seeholzer was a little too slow when Ciro Tono got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-8. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Oliverio during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jose Primo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Kleopas Seeholzer made a huge save. Kleopas Seeholzer made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Artemio Froila sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Lia in the 80th minute of play forced La Matera Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Kleopas Seeholzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kleopas Seeholzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Oliverio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Soldevilla AFC's Manuel Galsino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Lico in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Artemio Froila lined in a short shot 1-9 behind a frustrated Kleopas Seeholzer. Jacinto Oliverio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleopas Seeholzer having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Godofredo Lia took a quick shot and it went in 1-10 without a chance for Kleopas Seeholzer to make any attempt to save it. The La Matera Fútbol Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Soldevilla AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
