Teodoro Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Faro having to interfere. Laureano Mingo kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The Sportivo Palmaditas FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Sportivo Palmaditas FC's Ladislao Sauveur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Teodoro Ugutz hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match Alonzo Taurino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marciano Faro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvestre Lizer kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Rubio in the 19th minute of play forced Sportivo Palmaditas FC's goalkeeper Marciano Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Palmaditas FC's Filomeno Platon got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Mingo in the 23rd minute of play forced Sportivo Palmaditas FC's goalkeeper Marciano Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Freddy Rubio put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Marciano Faro. Marciano Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Rubio in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Silvestre Astigar notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Sportivo Palmaditas FC's Marciano Faro. Marciano Faro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 32 played minutes Hydra got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Ugutz. In the 33rd match minute, Hydra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Mingo to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match, Ladislao Sauveur got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristobal Lorenz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 41 minutes into the game, Hydra's Freddy Rubio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marciano Faro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 45 minutes into the match, Sportivo Palmaditas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Rubio came free, but Marciano Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Freddy Rubio came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Hydra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Rubio couldn't finish the play. After the first half Hydra were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislao Sauveur was the one to do the kick off. If Freddy Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marciano Faro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Rubio's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute Gilberto Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Freddy Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Ugutz in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marciano Faro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Sportivo Palmaditas FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rodrigo Canor hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Hydra's Marciano Faro threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodoro Ugutz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cristobal Lorenz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Ugutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristobal Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 90 minutes into the match, Sportivo Palmaditas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Rubio came free, but Marciano Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Rubio's late challenge caught a Sportivo Palmaditas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Sauveur in the 94th minute of play forced Hydra's goalkeeper Cristobal Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hydra eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
