The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. River Plate de VicenteLóp's Doru Preda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Pacorro in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Caroya were awarded a corner. Vinicio Froylan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Vinicio Froylan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but River Plate de VicenteLóp's Doru Preda did a great save. In the 7th match minute, Caroya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Bakar to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, River Plate de VicenteLóp's Jörg Siekötter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luo Chao Shu. Luo Chao Shu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Caroya's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Evaggelos Iasonidis scored to the left of an out of position Luo Chao Shu, making the score, 2-0. 18 minutes into the game, Filomeno Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate de VicenteLóp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caroya the free kick. 20 minutes into the game, Severino Pacorro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Doru Preda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the last second Luo Chao Shu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Evaggelos Iasonidis in the 24thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Severino Pacorro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Doru Preda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luo Chao Shu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaggelos Iasonidis in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Oihan notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of River Plate de VicenteLóp's Doru Preda. Doru Preda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as River Plate de VicenteLóp's Prudencio Ramirez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luo Chao Shu. That made the score 3-2 after 43 minutes of play. In the 47th minute, Evaggelos Iasonidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Oihan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodolfo Oihan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Doru Preda. That made the score 3-3 in the 53 minute of play. Doru Preda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Oihan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Doru Preda had great luck who in the 75thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rodolfo Oihan from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Rodolfo Oihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Doru Preda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Caroya's goal looked a bit too open when Sigve Angelsen came free, but Luo Chao Shu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caroya made a substitution. Apolo Nuxila replaced Carolo Laurendi. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Rodolfo Oihan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Severino Pacorro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Doru Preda made a huge save. Despite being the better team, Caroya failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
