Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Norberto Azibar kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Esteco's goalkeeper Marciano Efren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Froilan Naelio. The supporters of Mercedes AFC booed when Esteco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Eguntsenti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marciano Efren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Azibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute Erasmo Gonsalvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Ler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Ler came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Esteco's Erasmo Gonsalvo. But to his dismay, Erasmo Gonsalvo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 31st minute, Ambrosio Iztal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marciano Efren. The goal made the score 3-1. Roman Ler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Aznaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Erasmo Gonsalvo made a precise shot to the right of Roman Ler. Mercedes AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The wind increased when Uriel Aznaro made the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Gonsalvo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo Gonsalvo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benedicto Frans took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marciano Efren. Marciano Efren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. 60 minutes into the game, Mercedes AFC's Norberto Azibar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marciano Efren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Marciano Efren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Azibar's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Eguntsenti during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Erubiel Raymundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Aznaro in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Ler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the game, Freddy Elizardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esteco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercedes AFC the free kick. Freddy Elizardo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Roman Ler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Gonsalvo in the 87th minute of play. Uriel Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Roman Ler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Iztal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Efren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Esteco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
