Almagro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Victorio Servando scored to the left of an out of position Ramon Silviano, making the score, 1-1. 18 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Alavés:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Deportivo Alavés:s Mauricio Faro showed great skill when he stopped Angelo Marz:s penalty. In the 19th minute, Angelo Marz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Almagro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 22nd minute, Almagro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aureliano Kaxen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 25 played minutes Almagro got a freekick which was hit by Moises Charro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Kaxen in the 27th minute of play forced Almagro's goalkeeper Ramon Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosendo Abadia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Tirso charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosendo Abadia to make the kick off. After 55 minutes, Venancio Txomin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almagro and the Deportivo Alavés players grew even worse after the yellow card. Venancio Txomin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Isidro Cugat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Isidro Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Faro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosendo Abadia's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Almagro booed when Deportivo Alavés was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Servando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Marz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Faro having to interfere. Mauricio Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Abadia in the 69th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Almagro's Luisito Bonadona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauricio Faro. That made the score 1-3 after 81 minutes of play. Deportivo Alavés's Mauricio Faro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Alavés from getting a goal against them. Mauricio Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Bonadona in the 92nd minute of the match. Almagro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
