Gilberto Garaile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gilberto Garaile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Gaztea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sans Frontieres booed when Niupi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Calixto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Claus in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Garaile saved Niupi FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Niupi FC's Emilio Hunfredo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Gilberto Garaile came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Sans Frontieres's Miguel Claus. But to his dismay, Miguel Claus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Anibal Bela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Baladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Bela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Lastur in the 30th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Miguel Claus took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Gilberto Garaile to make any attempt to save it. Miguel Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Garaile having to interfere. If Jeremias Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute Miguel Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Garaile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Enzo Calixto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Niupi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sans Frontieres the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Niupi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Calixto to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Bela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Lastur in the 65th minute. Freddy Gipuzkoa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Sans Frontieres:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Niupi FC:s goal. Anibal Bela had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Zeledon Florin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Jeremias Cortez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Garaile. Niupi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Cortez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Anibal Bela was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mateo Txordon. In the 82nd minute, Silviano Aberasturi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Honorato Mateus took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Anibal Bela to make any attempt to save it. Jeremias Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Ezequiel Lastur could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Anibal Bela however easily saved by the left post. 93 minutes into the match, Sans Frontieres's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Mateus came free, but Anibal Bela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th match minute, Niupi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Beat to maneuver through the defense. Sans Frontieres walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
