Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Honorato Mateus took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nestor Perrando made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Ezequiel Lastur sent off a good shot on target. When Zeledon Florin fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niupi FC's protests and gave Zeledon Florin a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Niupi FC! If Igor Silvanito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Lastur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Nestor Perrando skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ezequiel Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niupi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Lastur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Perrando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Stephen during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Niupi FC booed when Guampacha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Stephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Ezequiel Lastur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute of the match, Ezequiel Lastur got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nestor Perrando was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Honorato Mateus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Perrando having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Ponc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guampacha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niupi FC the free kick. Zeledon Florin placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Silvanito to make the kick off. A collision led to Niupi FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Enzo Calixto hit a great ball. Enzo Calixto's late challenge caught a Guampacha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Calixto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Niupi FC's Enzo Calixto got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Nestor Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Lastur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Honorato Mateus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nestor Perrando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustaquio Udalaitz during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eustaquio Udalaitz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Isaac Baladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Guampacha FC's zone, Ezequiel Lastur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Perrando came out of the goal and Ezequiel Lastur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorato Mateus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Calixto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Perrando having to interfere. After some careless play in the Guampacha FC defense, Isaac Baladi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Perrando. The Guampacha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Perrando should have stopped the shot. Niupi FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
