The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedro Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Bitxintxo having to interfere. After some careless play in the La Academia defense, Ruben Eufrasio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Bitxintxo. The La Academia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Bitxintxo should have stopped the shot. Alberto Matai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Alberto Matai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Bitxintxo. La Academia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Matai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Denis Laurentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. C.A. Rosario Central's Luciano Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Mundo in the 33rd minute of play. Francisco Bitxintxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Eufrasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Alberto Matai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Eufrasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Bitxintxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Eufrasio in the 41st minute of play. C.A. Rosario Central's Ruben Eufrasio got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Francisco Bitxintxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Matai was the one to do the kick off. Francisco Bitxintxo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Francia in the 52nd minute. Ermegildo Fominaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rosario Central booed when La Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Laurentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to La Academia getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Enzo Gau hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Alberto Matai notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of La Academia's Francisco Bitxintxo. Francisco Bitxintxo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Bitxintxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Eufrasio in the 83rd minute of the match. After 85 played minutes La Academia got a freekick which was hit by Denis Laurentzi. Alberto Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute.
