Spectators: 7342 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 125) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Enrique Llorenc started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Dawid Zabrzeski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Stathis Papafotiou sped through Ariel F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arturo Louis. After 7 played minutes Ariel F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Dantae. Benicio Erdiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Arturo Louis made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Dawid Zabrzeski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Louis was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Ariel F.C.'s Arturo Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stathis Papafotiou in the 23rd minute of play. Arturo Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Espinillo's Stathis Papafotiou in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ariel F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The supporters of Ariel F.C. booed when Espinillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawid Zabrzeski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dawid Zabrzeski came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Espinillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Zabrzeski couldn't finish the play. If Dawid Zabrzeski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stathis Papafotiou in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Louis saved Ariel F.C. from getting behind. After 60 minutes, Stathis Papafotiou made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ariel F.C.'s Arturo Louis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arturo Louis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dawid Zabrzeski went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Dawid Zabrzeski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prohar Khramczankov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Louis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Espinillo's Stathis Papafotiou got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Louis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Zabrzeski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Stathis Papafotiou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espinillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Stathis Papafotiou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Louis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, Ariel F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stathis Papafotiou came free, but Arturo Louis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Zabrzeski in the 88th minute of play forced Ariel F.C.'s goalkeeper Arturo Louis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
