Honorio Fortun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Edelmiro Benvide made a huge save. A collision led to Agote getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Francisco Restu hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Atletico Juventud FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Restu came free, but Hermengildo Beila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Atletico Juventud FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Celino to maneuver through the defense. Luis Vermudo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Ciro Goito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Edelmiro Benvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermengildo Beila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Restu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorio Fortun's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edelmiro Benvide firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 32 played minutes Atletico Juventud FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Abarca. Edelmiro Benvide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Fortun in the 35th minute. Edelmiro Benvide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Goito, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Honorio Fortun put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edelmiro Benvide. 44 minutes into the match, Honorio Fortun notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Agote's Edelmiro Benvide. Edelmiro Benvide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Agote's Edelmiro Benvide got control of the ball when Honorio Fortun tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

If Ciro Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Moises Martxel kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Agote's Edelmiro Benvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Fortun in the 54th minute of play. Moises Martxel hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Abarca, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Ciro Goito came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Atletico Juventud FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Goito couldn't finish the play. Moises Martxel kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Atletico Juventud FC's Reynaldo Abarca tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Agote's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Fortun came free, but Edelmiro Benvide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorio Fortun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Fortun got in the 67th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Edelmiro Benvide handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Honorio Fortun might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edelmiro Benvide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorio Fortun ran back to his position shaking his head. Edelmiro Benvide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Goito, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Atletico Juventud FC's Ciro Goito in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 98th minute, Roque Loreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Atletico Juventud FC were the better team. Atletico Juventud FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
