Saturnino Xabat's late challenge caught a River Plate FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Xabat helped the player get up and apologised. Saturnino Xabat hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to LosRanaPola getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jacinto Theobald hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Cristobal Merexildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Theobald kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Arnaldo Laurgain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Lano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. With 19 minutes on the clock, Filomeno Ishmael commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Arnaldo Laurgain's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rogelio Lano firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, LosRanaPola's Rogelio Lano got control of the ball when Arnaldo Laurgain tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnaldo Laurgain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogelio Lano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Eliazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alvaro Eliazar came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the River Plate FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Eliazar couldn't finish the play. After 34 played minutes LosRanaPola got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Theobald. In the 37th minute River Plate FC were awarded a corner. Esteve Edur went to the cornerflag to take it. River Plate FC's Esteve Edur was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rogelio Lano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Laurgain got free with Rogelio Lano in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 42 played minutes LosRanaPola got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Ladio. 45 minutes into the match, LosRanaPola's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Eliazar came free, but Rogelio Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Fagondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Ladio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fausto Ladio made a kick off. In the 60th minute Arnaldo Laurgain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Lano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 61 minutes on the clock, Dario Chorache commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 61 played minutes River Plate FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Chorache. Fausto Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Candido Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Lano having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, River Plate FC's Generoso Meder made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogelio Lano was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Candido Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Generoso Meder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Meder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Candido Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Lano having to interfere. Rogelio Lano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Lazcano's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Bernardo Fagondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Haritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rdth minute of the game Candido Lazcano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LosRanaPola's Rogelio Lano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Froilan Cucao charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Froilan Cucao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rogelio Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Lazcano in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Lazcano in the 90th minute of play forced LosRanaPola's goalkeeper Rogelio Lano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to River Plate FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cristobal Merexildo hit a great ball. After 97 minutes of play, River Plate FC's Candido Lazcano made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogelio Lano was left in no man's land by his defense there! River Plate FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
