The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Gutierrez got free with Ramon Igon in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 15 minutes, Korneliusz Psotka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Romance Eterno and the Buchardo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Korneliusz Psotka kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Benito Gutierrez took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Igon. Ramon Igon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Francisco Martinez fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buchardo's protests and gave Francisco Martinez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Buchardo getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Francisco Martinez hit a great ball. In the 24th minute of the match Daniele De Rossi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evelio Cordarin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 26 minutes, Ermegildo Cheche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buchardo and the Romance Eterno players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Romance Eterno's Ramon Igon got control of the ball when Benito Gutierrez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramon Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Txeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Benito Gutierrez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ramon Igon made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied.
