The supporters of Quimilí booed when Arocena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Jax didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ovidio Lander in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Godoy saved Arocena FC from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Ramiro Grabiel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edgardo Breogan, 1-0. In the 37th minute, Silvestre Javiero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 39 minutes, Ramiro Grabiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arocena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Grabiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Quimilí's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Grabiel came free, but Edgardo Breogan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Arocena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Bibiano to maneuver through the defense. Arocena FC's Modesto Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Turi in the 44th minute of play. Daniel Ipar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quimilí made a substitution. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Grabiel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Quimilí's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Ipar in the 93rd minute of play forced Quimilí's goalkeeper Edgardo Breogan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
