When Florentino Venerando came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Victoria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Venerando couldn't finish the play. Emilio Cheche charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Cheche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, Quimilí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Cheche to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Breogan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victoria's Jacobo Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Turi in the 81st minute of play. Gonzalo Oinatz succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeu Mendonça got free with Edgardo Breogan in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Victoria eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
