Leonardo Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marteinn Birkisson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Arotza, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, La Whoneta's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Castel came free, but Marteinn Birkisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Tadeo Arotza notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of La Whoneta's Marteinn Birkisson. Marteinn Birkisson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Berkem Demirbaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Rosalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sportivo Mendocretenence's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Casimiro Bastia scored to the left of an out of position Berkem Demirbaş, making the score, 1-3. In the 31st minute, Rafael Castel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marteinn Birkisson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Benedicto Abaunza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marteinn Birkisson. La Whoneta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marteinn Birkisson came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Mendocretenence's Tadeo Arotza. But to his dismay, Tadeo Arotza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Tadeo Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marteinn Birkisson having to interfere. Leonardo Hodei's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Berkem Demirbaş firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marteinn Birkisson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melih İstanbullu in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, Sportivo Mendocretenence's Melih İstanbullu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marteinn Birkisson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeo Arotza to strike the kick off in the second half. Marteinn Birkisson made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Melih İstanbullu sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the La Whoneta defense, Benedicto Abaunza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marteinn Birkisson. The La Whoneta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marteinn Birkisson should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute Leonardo Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkem Demirbaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Marco Ruben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marteinn Birkisson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Arotza in the 70th minute of the match. Vicente Silvanito might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Berkem Demirbaş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Silvanito ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Arotza in the 76th minute of play forced La Whoneta's goalkeeper Marteinn Birkisson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marteinn Birkisson made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Rafael Castel sent off a good shot on target. Benê Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Benê Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Benedicto Abaunza from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Marteinn Birkisson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Leonardo Hodei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Whoneta's Marteinn Birkisson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melih İstanbullu in the 91st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Marteinn Birkisson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sportivo Mendocretenence's Berkem Demirbaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Botelho in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Sportivo Mendocretenence was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Castel to maneuver through the defense.
