In the 8th minute, Rafael Loramendi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DEP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Firman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hu Jing Jie was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. If Albano Sol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albano Sol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Chan having to interfere. Roberto Chan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Loramendi in the 24th minute. Reynaldo Firman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hu Jing Jie having to make a save. 38 minutes into the game, Tusquitas AFC's Reynaldo Firman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hu Jing Jie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Albano Sol might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto Chan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albano Sol ran back to his position shaking his head. Roberto Chan made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Rafael Loramendi sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, Tusquitas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Sol came free, but Roberto Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes, Reynaldo Firman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tusquitas AFC and the DEP players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tusquitas AFC's Reynaldo Firman got a free kick in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Reynaldo Firman made the kick off in the second half. Hu Jing Jie came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Tusquitas AFC's Reynaldo Firman. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Firman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The attack was good, but when Reynaldo Firman in the 55th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Alvaro Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Steven kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Marcelino Cordeiro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hu Jing Jie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Firman in the 63rd minute of play. Tusquitas AFC were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after DEP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcelino Cordeiro took the corner. Alvaro Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hu Jing Jie was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hipolito Garci. 73 minutes into the game, Tusquitas AFC's Alvaro Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hu Jing Jie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Tusquitas AFC's Anselmo Luke got a free kick in the 78th minute. Rafael Loramendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hu Jing Jie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Firman's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. With his leg Hu Jing Jie managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Tusquitas AFC's Alvaro Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 88th minute, Alvaro Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tusquitas AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
