With his leg Romeo Luar managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Tusquitas AFC's Reynaldo Firman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gustavo Oroitz was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 35 minutes into the game Salvador Guerrero came into a good position and shot a long shot on goal. In spite of Romeo Luar trying to reach the ball it went through just inside the left pole. 2-0. Anselmo Luke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tusquitas AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
