The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Loramendi got free with Aquiles Cibran in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafael Loramendi came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aquiles Cibran could save by the left post. The DEP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hu Jing Jie should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Basilio Losada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hu Jing Jie. DEP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basilio Losada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Cornelio Ireno hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The DEP players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lincoln City were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ziemowit Trynda was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Inocencio Steven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DEP and the Lincoln City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, DEP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Salvidor to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Ireno couldn't finish the play. After having played for 87 minutes, Ziemowit Trynda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lincoln City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziemowit Trynda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DEP's Inocencio Steven got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Inocencio Steven off the ground. A collision led to DEP getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Inocencio Steven hit a great ball. When the match was over Lincoln City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DEP throughout the match.
