In the 4th minute, Isaias Luken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Godoy Cruz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sebastian Raymundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Firman in the 7th minute of the match. Sebastian Raymundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Luke in the 8th minute. Sebastian Raymundo was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Anselmo Luke capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anselmo Luke really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Reynaldo Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Raymundo having to interfere. In the 15th minute of the match, Alvaro Sancho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sebastian Raymundo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gaspar Cuartio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the game, Tusquitas AFC's Alvaro Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Raymundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 23 minutes into the game, Isaias Luken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Roberto Chan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Godoy Cruz's Miguel Benet got a free kick in the 27th minute. Tusquitas AFC's Marcelino Cordeiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Godoy Cruz. Isaias Luken blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Chan having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Luke during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Tusquitas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Luke to maneuver through the defense. Evaristo Chesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Godoy Cruz:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tusquitas AFC:s goal. 3-2 came through a penalty shot after 41 played minutes, when Tusquitas AFC:s Marcelino Cordeiro calmly waited for Godoy Cruz:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaias Luken to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 63 minutes, Reynaldo Firman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tusquitas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Firman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute Clodoveo Ticho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Chan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Luken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clodoveo Ticho kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Sebastian Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Guerrero in the 69th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Alvaro Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Sebastian Raymundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isaias Luken scored 4-5 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Chan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Sancho in the 88th minute of play forced Godoy Cruz's goalkeeper Sebastian Raymundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Cuartio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Salvador Guerrero scored 5-5 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Raymundo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
