When Matias Mel fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS MAGIOS FC's protests and gave Matias Mel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LOS MAGIOS FC's Matias Mel got a free kick in the 18th minute. Cirilo Evarado scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Raymundo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Isaias Luken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Lluterio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Cresconio. LOS MAGIOS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to LOS MAGIOS FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Matias Mel hit a great ball. The Godoy Cruz fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Godoy Cruz's Evaristo Chesus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Baturhan Toprak kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Luken was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Luken in the 52nd minute of play forced LOS MAGIOS FC's goalkeeper Carlos Cresconio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Dabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sebastian Raymundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Godoy Cruz's Isaias Luken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Cresconio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Luken in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Cresconio saved LOS MAGIOS FC from getting behind. If Cirilo Evarado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Godoy Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Evarado came free, but Sebastian Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Koldo charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Koldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, Godoy Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Koldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Cirilo Evarado made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Raymundo. Godoy Cruz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Evaristo Chesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Cresconio having to interfere. Evaristo Chesus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Carlos Cresconio made a huge save. LOS MAGIOS FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Godoy Cruz for a fine match.
