Hector Estevon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Tolojna FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jose Ruy fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Jose Ruy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Blas Garin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Fidele got in the 36th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Hector Estevon handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Pedro Afonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mateo Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Pinamar's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Garin came free, but Hector Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tolojna FC's Blas Garin pulled a muscle in his back after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsenio Naelio during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pinamar's Arsenio Naelio got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Afonso was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Pinamar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lucio Paio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Pinamar's Hector Estevon got control of the ball when Lucio Paio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Paio got free with Hector Estevon in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodoro Perrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Hector Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pinamar's Virgilio Panpili got a free kick in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pinamar's zone, Lucio Paio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Estevon came out of the goal and Lucio Paio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Roberto Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Afonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucio Paio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Hector Estevon made a huge save. Teodoro Perrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Estevon having to interfere. Lucio Paio struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hector Estevon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tolojna FC. If Bernabe Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauro Pirmin's late challenge caught a Tolojna FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Pirmin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Mauro Pirmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute of the match Rosendo Natanael sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Estevon skillfully saved the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tolojna FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
