After 14 minutes, John Rudolph made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ravioles Locos's Bonifacio Erdiano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Rio Galaxy's Venancio Neron got control of the ball when Celedonio Oto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roberto Gitano kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Rudolph in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bonifacio Erdiano saved Ravioles Locos from getting behind. Rio Galaxy's Alonzo Cerilo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bonifacio Erdiano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jacobo Marcones sped through Ravioles Locos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bonifacio Erdiano. In the 29th minute John Rudolph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Erdiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rio Galaxy's Astor Menendo got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ravioles Locos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Menendo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The wind increased when Rolando Chorache made the kick off in the second half. Bonifacio Erdiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Menendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Astor Menendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ravioles Locos's Bonifacio Erdiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Rio Galaxy's Astor Menendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rio Galaxy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Menendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Rio Galaxy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ravioles Locos.
