An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Ciano in the 24th minute of play forced Corcoran CF's goalkeeper Celedonio Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cecilio Kepa in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Fidensio saved Corcoran CF from getting behind. After having played for 70 minutes, Haakon Gaafar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pergamino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haakon Gaafar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st match minute, Corcoran CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Fidensio having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Alejandro Alonso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corcoran CF and the Pergamino FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Kepa couldn't finish the play. Pergamino FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
