In the 3rd minute, Rigoberto Abalos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granatinto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejandro Alonso got free with Severiano Malvin in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rene Cordeiro's late challenge caught a Granatinto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Wilfredo Jacindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Fidensio having to interfere. Severiano Malvin came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Corcoran CF's Alejandro Alonso. But to his dismay, Alejandro Alonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 26 played minutes Granatinto FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Jacindo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Alonso in the 28th minute of play forced Granatinto FC's goalkeeper Severiano Malvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Abalos in the 31st minute of play forced Corcoran CF's goalkeeper Celedonio Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celedonio Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Jacindo in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Vistruario in the 43rd minute of play forced Corcoran CF's goalkeeper Celedonio Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejandro Alonso got free with Severiano Malvin in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Wilfredo Jacindo made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Granatinto FC booed when Corcoran CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Erdiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Granatinto FC's Wilfredo Jacindo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celedonio Fidensio. Celedonio Fidensio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 61st match minute, Corcoran CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Alonso to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Venancio Bazkoare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Rigoberto Abalos could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Celedonio Fidensio however easily saved by the left post. Rigoberto Abalos in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celedonio Fidensio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Granatinto FC's Rigoberto Abalos got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, one of Granatinto FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Granatinto FC. Celedonio Fidensio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Abalos went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Wilfredo Jacindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Abalos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Celedonio Fidensio made a huge save. Granatinto FC's Rigoberto Abalos got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rigoberto Abalos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Celedonio Fidensio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Jacindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celedonio Fidensio was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. 94 minutes into the game, Granatinto FC's Rigoberto Abalos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celedonio Fidensio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. The Corcoran CF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Granatinto FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
