After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Osvaldo Laffitte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zarlanga's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Laffitte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Sidro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvaldo Laffitte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Sidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Lucian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Osvaldo Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anastasio Manni fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lomas FC's protests and gave Anastasio Manni a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Lomas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Manni to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Osvaldo Laffitte managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a left leg Christian Sidro saved Lomas FC from getting behind. If Osvaldo Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, Osvaldo Laffitte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zarlanga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Lomas FC booed when Zarlanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Paskal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Lomas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zarlanga were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo Laffitte to make the kick off. Rigoberto Laurin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Christian Sidro made a huge save. After some careless play in the Lomas FC defense, Osvaldo Laffitte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Sidro. The Lomas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Sidro should have stopped the shot. Osvaldo Laffitte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Sidro having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Laffitte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Christian Sidro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Osvaldo Laffitte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Christian Sidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 minutes, Ciro Honesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lomas FC and the Zarlanga players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Lomas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Honesto to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Lomas FC's Christian Sidro got control of the ball when Rigoberto Laurin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zarlanga's Osvaldo Laffitte was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 71st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Lomas FC's Christian Sidro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Lomas FC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 75 in the game by Osvaldo Laffitte from a close distance when the talented Christian Sidro managed to make a qualified save. Lomas FC's players were relieved. In the 76th minute, Emanuel Paskal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-5 became the score in the 83rd minute when Osvaldo Laffitte elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Honesto in the 86th minute of play forced Zarlanga's goalkeeper Natalio Froila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Sidro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Laffitte's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. With a little luck, Lomas FC's Christian Sidro got control of the ball when Osvaldo Laffitte tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Saul Sengrat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Lomas FC's goalkeeper Christian Sidro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Laffitte. After having played for 97 minutes, Emanuel Paskal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zarlanga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Paskal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zarlanga's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
