Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ovidio Piorno got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Ovidio Piorno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Horacio Galsino took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Paolo Ceandro to make any attempt to save it. Bruno Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Cordarin having to interfere. When Severiano Hartz fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Norte's protests and gave Severiano Hartz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Severiano Hartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Piorno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Cordarin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Golondrinas AFC got a corner. Deportivo Norte's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alberto Sanson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Golondrinas AFC's Alberto Sanson to fire away a dangerous shot which Arturo Cordarin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Arturo Cordarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Piorno in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Bruno Blasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golondrinas AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Arturo Cordarin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Deportivo Norte getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Timoteo Senon hit a great ball. Ovidio Piorno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Piorno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Cordarin having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Galsino to make the kick off. If Ovidio Piorno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Norte's zone, Bruno Blasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Cordarin came out of the goal and Bruno Blasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arturo Cordarin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Blasco in the 57th minute. Ovidio Piorno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Restu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute of the match Jeronimo Weterio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Cordarin skillfully saved the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Bruno Blasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Cordarin. Deportivo Norte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Blasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Bruno Blasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Blasco in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arturo Cordarin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bruno Blasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arturo Cordarin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Blasco ran back to his position shaking his head. Arturo Cordarin was a little too slow when Ovidio Piorno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-4. 91 minutes into the match, Golondrinas AFC's Ovidio Piorno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arturo Cordarin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arturo Cordarin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 93rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Golondrinas AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
