With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Fidensio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Damian Kinsen hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Celedonio Fidensio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Dabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Corcoran CF's goalkeeper Celedonio Fidensio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Blasco. Rolando Restu's late challenge caught a Corcoran CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Restu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Golondrinas AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rolando Restu hit a great ball. Julio Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Paolo Ceandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corcoran CF's Celedonio Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Piorno in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Golondrinas AFC's Bruno Blasco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celedonio Fidensio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Corcoran CF defense, Bruno Blasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Fidensio. The Corcoran CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Fidensio should have stopped the shot. Corcoran CF's Celedonio Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Piorno in the 40th minute of play. Golondrinas AFC's Ovidio Piorno got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Restu hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Golondrinas AFC!

The wind increased when Ovidio Piorno made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Corcoran CF's zone, Ovidio Piorno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Fidensio came out of the goal and Ovidio Piorno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Corcoran CF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ruperto Ishmael hit a great ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Ovidio Piorno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golondrinas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Piorno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Blasco in the 59th minute of play forced Corcoran CF's goalkeeper Celedonio Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Corcoran CF's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Piorno came free, but Celedonio Fidensio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, one of Corcoran CF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corcoran CF. Ovidio Piorno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Fidensio having to interfere. When Ruperto Ishmael fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corcoran CF's protests and gave Ruperto Ishmael a yellow card for diving instead. Ruperto Ishmael kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Celedonio Fidensio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Piorno in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of Golondrinas AFC booed when Corcoran CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Blasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes Corcoran CF got a freekick which was hit by Joel Lluterio. If Bruno Blasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Golondrinas AFC were the better team. Golondrinas AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
