Filiberto Papo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th match minute, Deseado AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Raitin to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cecilio Kepa in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Evangelista saved Deseado AFC from getting behind. Pergamino FC's Haakon Gaafar got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Evangelista was a little too slow when Cecilio Kepa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cristian Bastian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deseado AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Bastian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Primo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Generoso Rufio hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Marcial Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcial Paulin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Cecilio Kepa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deseado AFC's Fabio Evangelista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Narciso Primo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Bastian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Pergamino FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pergamino FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
