Miguel Turi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Lucas Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Pergamino FC's Cecilio Kepa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haakon Gaafar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Miguel Turi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Turi having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ciriaco Roano made the kick off in the second half. Pergamino FC's Narciso Primo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Hanni in the 75th minute of play. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Cecilio Kepa sped through Ayui's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miguel Turi.
