Godfredo Dacio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zarlanga! Zarlanga's Natalio Froila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Hanni in the 42nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo Eudoxio during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abelardo Eudoxio hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Albino Remir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zarlanga's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Remir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Turi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd match minute, Zarlanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Erramu to maneuver through the defense.
