Spectators: 6481 (Terracing: 5481, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonatan Mikolas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Eloy Liberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Alonso charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Alonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Shurima FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Alonso to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Lokon Dibala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloy Liberto. Shurima FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lokon Dibala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 27 played minutes Lugano HRM got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Mirande. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lokon Dibala in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Liberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Lugano HRM's Lokon Dibala in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shurima FC's goalie prevented a goal. Eloy Liberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Galsino in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Modesto Bonifaco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eloy Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lokon Dibala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Lugano HRM were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Rexino to make the kick off. When Shurima FC's Edgard Rexino in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A nice corner shot did that Lokon Dibala got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eloy Liberto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Lugano HRM's Romulo Markel got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Shurima FC's Modesto Bonifaco got a free kick in the 65th minute. Shurima FC's Eloy Liberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lokon Dibala in the 67th minute of play. Eloy Liberto made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Lokon Dibala sent off a good shot on target. Lokon Dibalas short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Eloy Liberto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 71 played minutes Shurima FC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Bonifaco. After 74 played minutes Jonatan Mikolas rounded Shurima FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. A collision led to Shurima FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Victorino Endira hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Edgard Rexino put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benedicto Karmel. Edgard Rexino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benedicto Karmel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89thth minute of the game Lokon Dibala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shurima FC's Eloy Liberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lugano HRM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lokon Dibala in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute of the match Romeo Froylan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eloy Liberto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Edgard Rexino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lugano HRM supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lugano HRM would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
