In the 4th match minute, Centro Español was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Etxekopar to maneuver through the defense. Iker Heli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celestino Orzaize. Centro Español's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pedro Chorache was a little too slow when Ariel Maore got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 12th minute, Cleto Hanni made a precise shot to the right of Celestino Orzaize. Centro Español's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Celestino Orzaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes of play, Deportivo Pacuzito's Cleto Hanni made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celestino Orzaize was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celestino Orzaize came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pacuzito's Zeledon Hernandez. But to his dismay, Zeledon Hernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Pedro Chorache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Cleto Hanni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Celestino Orzaize was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the game, Nicanor Iban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Pacuzito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centro Español the free kick. The supporters of Centro Español booed when Deportivo Pacuzito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Iban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Chorache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Chorache didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ariel Maore went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Pedro Chorache made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Maore in the 44th minute. After the first half Deportivo Pacuzito were leading 3-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pedro Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Estebe in the 51st minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pacuzito's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Gombal came free, but Pedro Chorache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Albino Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 minutes Deportivo Pacuzito's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isaias Bidun who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Centro Español's corner Isaias Bidun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Chorache quite easily take care of the ball. After 69 played minutes Deportivo Pacuzito got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Hernandez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Estebe in the 77th minute of play forced Deportivo Pacuzito's goalkeeper Pedro Chorache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pacuzito's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Gombal came free, but Pedro Chorache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Gombal in the 81st minute of play forced Deportivo Pacuzito's goalkeeper Pedro Chorache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Centro Español's Celestino Orzaize got control of the ball when Cleto Hanni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Deportivo Pacuzito were furious when Raimundo Rosalio was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Pedro Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Gombal in the 93rd minute of the match. After 98 played minutes Deportivo Pacuzito got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Hernandez. Isaias Bidun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Deportivo Pacuzito supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Pacuzito would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
